We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of Food Service Staff/Porter at St. Anthony's Gardens. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

• · Keep all kitchen work surfaces clean and sanitized.
• · Sweep and mop floors.
• · Clean and sanitize all food service equipment and surfaces.
• · Wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery.
• · Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including tables, chairs, and serving areas. Prepare and serve resident’s meals using proper food handling techniques.
• · Receive and unpack deliveries.
• · Maintaining order in storage areas.
• · Empty trash.
• · Follow all health and safety regulations.
• · Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• · Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate:

• · 6 months dietary services / cooking experience preferred
• · Knowledge of quality food prep and food service
• · Strong communication skills.
• · Strong organizational skills.
• · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• · Attention to detail.
• · Problem-solving skills.
• · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Qualifications

• · Reliable and punctual.
• · Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• · Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
