Culinary Arts Instructor

Job Description: The individual will provide instruction to high school juniors and seniors enrolled in BOCES programs in the culinary arts field. The individual will be responsible for planning, implementation, and facilitating all instructional requirements in the areas of culinary arts. The candidate will be required to cover the entire curriculum, including integrated mathematics, English, and science. Practical experience in the culinary arts industry is required. Experience with real life culinary arts applications as well as working with high school age students are desired. Individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual with industry experience would qualify for certification with successful completion of three workshops and an examination (if applicable). Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Assignment is subject to change.

Requirements: NYS Certification in Culinary Careers 7-12

Anticipated Salary: Board of Education approved rates.
