NHC HealthCare Lawrenceburg is seeking a dependable and caring Food Service Tech – AM Aide to join our dietary team. This part-time opportunity offers the potential to transition into a full-time position based on staffing needs and availability.

This role supports quality meal service for patients and residents while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. We are looking for a reliable, team-oriented individual who takes pride in providing excellent service and making a positive difference each day.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary instructions.

• Prepare meal trays and help ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.

• Assist with breakfast and lunch meal preparation, service, and cleanup.

• Assist with dining room setup and maintaining an organized dining environment.

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.

• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, storage, and food preparation areas.

• Properly store food and supplies and follow safe food handling practices.

• Follow sanitation, infection control, safety, and NHC procedures.

• Provide courteous service to patients, residents, families, visitors, and fellow partners.

• Assist the dietary team with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Availability to work the scheduled AM shift from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment.

• Previous food service or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
