Food Service Workers (Baltimore City, MD)

Food Service Workers needed for our education client in Baltimore City. The Food Service Workers will assemble, track and distribute prepared food. Three to six month contract position with possible extension or contract to hire consideration. The non-negotiable pay rate is $16.00 per hour.


Essential Duties:

• Performs basic food preparation.
  
• Assembles meals (salads, sandwiches, box lunches).
  
• Greet students and facility members.
• Distributes food to students in line.
  
• Accesses the computer to track meal counts.
  
• Clean cafeteria and kitchen facilities.
  

Qualifications:

• Must have experience working in a food service setting.
  
• Must have great communication and basic data entry skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for periods of time.
  
• Must be able to keep inventory and lift food supplies such as plastic utensils, paper plates, and napkins.
  
• Must be able to work a 7-8 hour shift starting at 6:30 am Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch school days only.
  
• Must be able to pass a FBI background check and drug test.
