Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Food Services Crew Leader to oversee the daily operations of our food service outlet. The successful candidate will lead and supervise the service crew, ensure excellent customer service, maintain food safety and hygiene standards, and support the outlet in achieving operational and sales targets.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and motivate the service crew to ensure smooth day-to-day outlet operations.
Allocate work duties and monitor staff performance during each shift.
Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints.
Ensure food and beverages are prepared and served according to company standards.
Monitor cleanliness, food safety, and workplace hygiene in compliance with NEA and SFA regulations.
Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily reconciliation.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to minimise shortages and wastage.
Assist in receiving deliveries and ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
Train, coach, and mentor new employees on service standards, operational procedures, and workplace safety.
Ensure compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
Support the Outlet Manager in achieving sales targets, productivity goals, and operational excellence.
Prepare basic operational reports and communicate daily operational issues to management.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Minimum GCE 'N' Level, GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification.
At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in the Food & Beverage or hospitality industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Proficient in basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Team player with a proactive and responsible work attitude.
