At Beach Ford, we are dedicated to providing top-notch automotive repair and maintenance services to our community. We are a high-volume repair shop servicing up to 4500 vehicles per month. Currently, adding onto the service department with the construction of a new from the ground up 55,000 square foot climate-controlled truck shop.

**Job Description: **

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Ford Service Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles while ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer service.

**Key Responsibilities: **

- Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and determine necessary repairs.

- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, safety inspections and fluid services.

- Repair and replace damaged or worn mechanical parts. Knowledge of repair and replacement of engines, transmissions, and electrical systems strongly encouraged.

- Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and communicate findings to customers.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and regulations.

- Stay up-to-date with automotive technology and industry trends through ongoing training and development.

- Work collaboratively with team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.

**Qualifications: **

-Valid Drivers licenses, ability to pass both DRUG and BACKGROUND check required.

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certification program in automotive technology is preferred.

-Licensed Virginia State inspector is recommended

- Proven experience as a Ford Service Technician or in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and diagnostic equipment including IDS and FDRS.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to customers.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- FORD STARs training, or L1/L2 ASE certification is a plus.
