Having a team of motivated line markers that produce quality work,
has enabled them to grow and achieve a great increase in projects across
Sydney and surrounding areas. They are now looking for an experienced
Line Marking/ Colour Surfacing Foreman to lead a small team to complete
the work of each project in a timely manner.
The Position…
As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of
qualified line markers and labourers, while ensuring the safety aspects
of your team, training them for utmost efficiency, while completing
projects within the allocated time frames. You must be able to lead and
work closely with all co-workers to ensure the safe management of work
zones.
Further duties include;
- New Installation of Line Marking/ Colour Surfacing on Roads, Car Parks, Airports and Clients Premises.
- Complete Pre-start and all associated paperwork prior to job start.
- Maintain High Standard of Leadership duties of all on-site.
- On-site Communication with Client Representative.
- Implementation of TGS’s and Permit Conditions for work sites.
- Control all trafficable movement in and around the worksite.
The Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Line Marking/
Colour Surfacing Installation & Removal experience, along with a
current Open Drivers License (MR preferred), and Certification in
Traffic Control.
The preferred personal attributes include;
- Communication: Need to speak to and understand co-workers and drivers during their workday.
- Professional Approach: Need to be competent and professional in approach of your duties.
- Confident Manner: Need to be confident in the way you direct traffic, pedestrians & cyclist whilst doing your duties.
- Positive Attitude: Towards work, workers and change that may occur due to company policies & procedures.
