Foreman - Plumbing
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead plumbers, pipe fitters, and helpers in daily site activities.
- Execute plumbing and drainage installation works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor workforce productivity.
- Ensure all plumbing works are completed in accordance with project schedules.
- Read and interpret plumbing layouts, shop drawings, and installation details.
- Coordinate with supervisors and site engineers regarding work progress and site requirements.
- Monitor material usage and report shortages or wastage.
- Ensure proper installation of water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sewage systems.
- Assist in testing, flushing, hydrostatic testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Report site issues, material requirements, and manpower needs to the supervisor.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices within the work area.
- Support snag rectification and project handover activities.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Trade Certificate in Plumbing or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in plumbing installation works, with at least 2 years as a Foreman.
- Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, hospitality, or industrial projects.
- Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of plumbing materials, fittings, and installation methods.
