Forensic Audit/ Investigations Manager

We are seeking an experienced In-House Forensic Auditor to investigate suspected fraud, financial irregularities, misconduct and control breaches within the organisation. The role will focus on identifying potential wrongdoing, conducting investigations and recommending measures to strengthen internal controls and prevent recurrence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic audits and investigations into suspected fraud, financial misconduct, irregular transactions and policy violations.
• Analyse financial records, transactions and supporting documentation to identify anomalies, suspicious activities and potential control weaknesses.
• Gather and evaluate evidence, conduct interviews and document investigation findings in a clear and objective manner.
• Prepare investigation reports highlighting key findings, root causes, financial impact and recommended corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Risk Management and other stakeholders on investigation matters.
• Recommend improvements to internal controls, fraud prevention measures and governance processes.
• Monitor remediation efforts and follow up on identified control deficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in forensic auditing, fraud investigations, internal audit or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CFE would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of fraud risks, financial controls, investigative techniques and corporate governance.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, data analytics and investigative reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and report-writing abilities.
• High level of integrity, discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
