Forklift Driver

Position Summary

The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to support receiving, shipping, warehouse, and production operations. This position ensures materials, pallets, and finished goods are moved safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, organized work environment.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid forklift certification required, or ability to complete company-approved forklift certification.
• Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts preferred.
• Experience supporting receiving, shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or RMA operations preferred.
• Ability to safely load and unload trucks, trailers, pallets, equipment, and materials.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 65 lbs as required.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Ability to read pallet labels, shipping labels, part numbers, serial numbers, and basic warehouse documentation.
• Basic computer, barcode scanner, or inventory-system knowledge preferred.
• Ability to follow all company safety procedures, forklift traffic rules, and OSHA requirements.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and proper material handling.
• Ability to prioritize urgent Receiving, Shipping, and RMA material-movement requests to prevent operational delays.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting Receiving, Shipping, Warehouse, Production, and Operations teams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S requirements.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when required.
