Reports To: Inventory Manager
Location: Ponca City, OK
Amount of Travel Required: N/A
Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Positions Supervised: N/A
POSITION SUMMARY: The Forklift Operator is responsible for the proficient and safe use of the forklift in moving, lifting, and packing raw material. They will also ensure the safe and efficient use of the vehicle, perform daily safety checks, report defects, and securing and balancing loads.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may")
- Safely operate forklift equipment required in these operations.
- Receive and store raw material.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Correct any inventory inaccuracies discovered when pulling material.
- Conduct physical inventory cycle counts and location audits to determine the accuracy of inventory balances.
- Pull raw material from stock and deliver to the required department.
- Stock received material and provide part location information to be entered into the computer records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
