Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be tasked with ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and goals.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and report any mechanical issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
