Forklift Operator – Netherlands
Posted
Description
With a few metric tons on your forks, this isn’t a job for beginners!
As a forklift operator in Hasselt, you won’t be doing standard warehouse work. Here, you’ll operate a heavy 4-fork forklift with a capacity of 4 to 7 metric tons and load and unload trucks with large bundles of wood. This is work where experience, precision, and a good feel for heavy equipment make all the difference.
You’ll have the freedom to work independently and will be responsible for safely moving large bundles of wood. Together with your coworkers, you’ll ensure that trucks are loaded and unloaded on time and that everything ends up in the right place.
You’ll be joining a manufacturing company where everyone rolls up their sleeves and colleagues can count on one another. No complicated red tape—just good teamwork and knowing what needs to be done.
And your work schedule? An average of 36 hours per week on a two-shift rotation, with every Friday off when you’re on the late shift. That’s a nice bonus!
What will you be doing?
Maneuvering a heavy forklift between trucks and large bundles of lumber requires experience and a steady hand. You know how to safely pick up a heavy load, move it, and place it exactly where it needs to go.
