Forklift Operator

Job Summary: We’re growing and looking for reliable, safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our team at Newcold an industry-leading automated cold storage facility. As a Forklift Operator, you are ensuring that our customers’ product orders are picked, stacked, wrapped, tagged, stored and/or shipped as they have requested, via truck, container or rail. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent safety awareness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring that products are accurately handled and distributed. Duties/Responsibilities: Safely operate forklifts to move pallets and materials within a frozen warehouse. Load and unload trucks, containers, and rail cars. Stage and organize products in designated areas. Perform daily inspections of equipment and report any issues. Assist with receiving, stocking, and picking orders accurately. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with Newcold and OSHA standards. Ensure product integrity by following proper handling and storage procedures for frozen goods. Follow established procedures for shipping and receiving. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals. Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance Wearing all NewCold and OSHA mandated personal protective equipment. Demonstrate knowledge of company safety programs. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
