Forklift Operator
Summary
Operate warehouse forklifts and equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely while following procedures and using RF scanners.
- Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, or other powered industrial equipment (equipment varies by client).
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse while following all safety procedures.
- Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders accurately using RF scanners, pick sheets, or warehouse management systems.
- Assist with receiving, shipping, inventory counts, and stock replenishment as needed.
- Perform general warehouse duties including palletizing, wrapping, labeling, sorting, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to management.
- Previous forklift operating experience is required; certification is preferred for some positions.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and communicate effectively in English.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (but not always required).
- Pay: ranges from $18-20/hr. Weekly pay!
- Shift: Multiple shifts available, including 1st, 2nd, weekends, and overtime opportunities depending on the client.
