Position Summary
- The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving products around the warehouse with ease.
- They need to use RF scanners to keep track of the items they are moving.
- The operator will need to ensure the product is secure and safe to transport to the designated location.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operates a forklift to move product and pallets throughout warehouse to an area safely.
- Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.
- Ensures that product is moved and scanned using a radio frequency scanner to the correct location and confirm product labels are accurate.
- Maintains a clean and safe area free and clear of any debris.
- Anticipates the needs of the business, keeping like product together and accessible.
- Successfully passes all Novo forklift training and operate a forklift following all safety requirements established within Novo.
- May place standup items into designated area by hand as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
