Forward Deployed Data Engineer
Summary
Forward deployed data engineer working directly with clients to deploy, integrate, and scale Fiveonefour's data products (Moose, Boréal, Sloan) within enterprise systems. Day-to-day involves building data flows, architecture, and automation using Python or TypeScript, SQL, and cloud data infrastructure.
Deploy data solutions with Fiveonefour using Python or Typescript, SQL, and enterprise integrations on a remote-first engineering team. Work directly with customers and internal teams to solve real-world technical challenges.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will support client data strategies and integrate Moose, Boréal, and Sloan with enterprise systems. You will collaborate with client IT, operations, engineering teams, product, design, business stakeholders, and executives. The work combines architecture, data infrastructure, workflow automation, security, and actionable insights.

- Support and scale client data strategies

Requirements:
- Six to ten years of work experience
- Robust Python or Typescript, SQL, architecture, and system design skills
- Knowledge of storage, transport, and computing mechanisms
- Networking experience with routers, backbones, and BGP
- Experience with enterprise data strategies, lakes, and cloud infrastructures
