Forward Deployed Engineer - 1 (FDE)

We're looking for an early-career Forward Deployed Engineer with strong fundamentals to own delivery for a single client, hands-on with code, feature builds, and bug fixes, working closely with FDE 2s and FDE 3s for guidance as you grow.

Responsibilities:

• Own delivery for a single client engagement end-to-end.
• Write clean, production-grade code for feature builds.
• Triage, debug, and fix issues to keep client systems reliable.
• Work closely with FDE 2s and FDE 3s for architectural and delivery guidance.
• Communicate progress and blockers directly with client stakeholders.
• Travel on-site as needed to support client delivery.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, clean code, debugging.
• Comfort working independently while asking for help early.
• Clear communicator, comfortable working directly with clients.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bangalore and travel as needed.

Nice to Have:

• Prior internship or project experience in a fast-paced engineering team.
• Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, or cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with agile delivery practices and PM tools (Jira, Linear, Notion, or similar).
• Prior startup or high-growth environment experience.
