Forward Deployed Engineer – Data & Analytics
The mandate
Translate messy data and operations problems into deployed analytics products on a modern data platform.
This is a customer vacancy managed through Balncs. The successful candidate will work close to customer teams while maintaining strong production-engineering standards and a clear feedback path into the underlying platform.
What you will own
- Discover the operational problem and translate it into an executable technical scope.
- Build, integrate and stabilise production capability in the customer environment.
- Coordinate decisions across users, engineering, product and delivery stakeholders.
- Capture repeated field patterns that can improve the platform, tooling or delivery playbook.
Evidence we are looking for
- Strong Python and SQL
- Data engineering experience
- Dashboarding experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar
- Experience working directly with non-technical users
