Role Summary
Were hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to build production AI agents inside our Microsoft
environment, sitting with business teams and shipping working solutions in weeks, not quarters.
Youll use Claude to build agents that read and act on email, automate workflows across Microsoft 365,
and connect to our enterprise systems. Youll own each agent from the first conversation with a business
user through deployment, security review and adoption. This is a builder role, not an advisory one.
What Youll Do
Build email and inbox agents. Agents that read Outlook mailboxes, classify and summarize
messages, extract data (orders, invoices, support requests), draft replies, and route work to the right
team or system.
Build enterprise-grade agents with Claude. Design prompts, tool use and multi-step agent
workflows using the Claude API and Claude Agent SDK, with evaluation, logging, and
human-in-the-loop approval where actions carry risk.
Integrate with the Microsoft stack. Connect agents to Microsoft 365 through Microsoft Graph
(Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Power Automate and Azure services.
Connect to business systems. Wire agents into ERP, CRM, ticketing and data platforms through
APIs and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
Embed with business teams. Sit with Finance, Customer Service, Sales Ops and HR to find
high-value use cases, map the current workflow, and prototype fast.
Ship to production securely. Work within Entra ID, role-based access, data loss prevention and
audit requirements. Partner with Security on reviews before go-live.
Measure and hand off. Track hours saved, accuracy and adoption. Document each agent so IT can
support it after launch.
What You Bring
5+ years of software engineering, with at least 2 in a customer-facing, solutions or consulting role.
Deep hands-on experience with the Microsoft ecosystem: Microsoft Graph API, Microsoft 365, Azure
(Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault) and Entra ID authentication.

Production experience building with LLMs. You have shipped at least one agent or LLM application
that real users depend on, ideally on Claude.
Strong Python or TypeScript; comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks and event-driven design.
Working knowledge of prompt engineering, tool calling, retrieval (RAG) and evaluating LLM output
quality.
Security instincts: you know how to handle mailbox permissions, PII, secrets and prompt-injection risk
in email content.
You can explain a technical tradeoff to a VP of Finance in plain language, then go build it.
Nice to Have
Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Platform or Teams app development.
Built MCP servers or used the Claude Agent SDK.
Background in a regulated or quality-controlled environment (life sciences, medical devices, finance).
Experience with ERP (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) or CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics 365) integrations.
Prior forward-deployed, solutions engineering or internal-consulting role at a SaaS or AI company.
