Forward Deployed Engineer

We are looking for a Forward Deployment Engineer who can combine strong backend engineering skills with practical AI/GenAI implementation. The role will involve working closely with business/product stakeholders and deploying technology solutions into real-world workflows. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable with ambiguity, strong in Java or Node.js, and able to integrate and productionize AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product, business, and other stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into deployable solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java/Spring Boot or Node.js .
• Build and integrate REST APIs, microservices, and third-party services.
• Integrate LLM/GenAI capabilities into customer and business workflows.
• Develop or integrate RAG, AI agents, prompt-based workflows, and LLM APIs where applicable.
• Own solution deployment, integration, testing, debugging, and production rollout.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive solutions from problem discovery through implementation.
• Work with engineering/product teams to feed deployment learnings back into scalable product improvements.
• Collaborate with customers or customer-facing teams when required to customize and deploy solutions.
• Maintain high standards for reliability, security, observability, and code quality.

Requirements:

• Backend Java + Spring Boot OR Node.js ; REST APIs; Microservices; backend development AI / GenAI LLMs, Generative AI, AI integration; experience with LLM APIs; RAG / AI agents is strongly preferred.
• Deployment: Production deployment, integrations, debugging, troubleshooting, and ownership of end-to-end implementation.
• Strong engineering, coding, API design, problem-solving, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Cloud / Infra AWS / GCP / Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes exposure preferred.
• Data/Tools: SQL, Git, and basic understanding of databases and distributed systems.
