This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Capability Center) based in United States.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in delivering AI-powered solutions that solve complex business challenges for enterprise clients. Working within cross-functional delivery pods, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to rapidly build, test, and refine applications using modern AI technologies and cloud platforms. This role combines full-stack engineering with direct customer engagement, allowing you to turn ideas into production-ready solutions. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation, quality, and continuous improvement are central to every project. Accountabilities:

Develop and deliver AI-driven software solutions using modern cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, leveraging large language models and related AI technologies.
Collaborate directly with business stakeholders on a daily basis to understand requirements, iterate on solutions, and ensure products deliver measurable value.
Build high-quality, production-ready applications by implementing comprehensive testing, evaluation frameworks, and quality assurance best practices.
Work closely with Solution Architects to execute technical designs while proactively identifying design gaps and recommending improvements.
Contribute to agile delivery teams by translating business needs into scalable technical solutions that support client transformation initiatives.
Continuously improve engineering practices by embracing modern AI development workflows, automation, and collaborative problem-solving.

Requirements

3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, AI development, or a related technical field.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience building applications on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
Hands-on exposure to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, or agentic development workflows is preferred.
Experience working with front-end technologies and full-stack application development is an advantage.
Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks, testing methodologies, and modern AI-assisted development tools.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly alongside business users throughout the development lifecycle.
Experience in healthcare or higher education environments, as well as AI certifications such as AWS AI Practitioner or Microsoft AI-900/AI-102, would be beneficial.

Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $145,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
