Forward Deployed Engineer

You serve as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and engineering. You join customer meetings, run demos, scope integrations, answer architecture questions, build prototypes and tooling, translate customer needs into shipped solutions, write technical content, and own onboarding and troubleshooting after the sale.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between engineering and sales
• Join sales calls and customer meetings as the technical authority
• Run demos and scope integrations
• Answer architecture questions about Targon, TVM, attestation, and confidential compute
• Scope customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions, integrations, and deployments on Targon
• Build prototypes, integrations, and tooling
• Feed structured customer signal back to engineering and product
• Deliver solutions, fixes, and roadmap input with the core team
• Write and present integration guides, architecture walkthroughs, and post-call follow-ups
• Own the technical relationship after the sale
• Onboard customers and troubleshoot platform issues

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering ability
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with TypeScript
• Experience with Next.js, React, and tRPC
• Comfort with APIs, SDKs, and CLIs
• Ability to drive ambiguous customer problems to delivered solutions
• Experience with AI/ML inference, training, GPUs, or model deployment
• Experience with permissionless systems or market-related products
• Experience with Golang
• Exposure to confidential computing, TEEs, or secure infrastructure
• Background in forward-deployed, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical account roles at an infrastructure company
