Forward Deployed Engineer

You embed with strategic customers to understand their business and build the infrastructure their launches require. You scope solutions directly with customer engineers, develop across the full stack, debug production issues, and turn successful bespoke implementations into reusable platform features. You work with customer engineers, operators, founders, and finance leaders while maintaining high standards for correctness, resilience, and auditability in money movement systems. You also travel monthly to spend time with customers on site.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer engineering and operations teams
• Scope builds and requirements directly with customers
• Build full stack infrastructure and integrations
• Develop account infrastructure, API endpoints, blockchain integrations, and compliance workflows
• Generalize bespoke implementations into platform features
• Prototype rapidly and debug production issues
• Design for correctness, resilience, and auditability
• Communicate with customer and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Production-grade full stack engineering ability
• Experience building and shipping software
• Demonstrated project or product built by you
• Experience with TypeScript, React, NestJS, Postgres, Prisma, AWS, SQS, SNS, or Lambda
• Comfort working directly with enterprise engineering teams
• Ability to operate under ambiguity and discover requirements
• Strong attention to correctness and resilience
• AI-native development experience
• Payments or fintech infrastructure experience is a strong plus
• Blockchain or stablecoin integration experience is a strong plus
