Forward Deployed Engineer

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who can work closely with customers to understand their requirements, solve complex problems, and collaborate with the engineering team to deliver practical solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong prompt engineering and LLM experience, along with hands-on experience in an early-stage startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers to understand their business requirements and technical challenges.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with engineering teams for implementation.
• Design, test, and optimise LLM prompts for real-world use cases.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve the quality, accuracy, and reliability of AI outputs.
• Build and iterate on AI/LLM-powered solutions based on customer feedback.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive solutions from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Work in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and ambiguity.
• Act as a bridge between customers, product, and engineering teams.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant software/AI engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Strong understanding of LLM prompting, prompt optimisation, and AI workflows.
• Experience working directly with customers/clients for requirement gathering and solution delivery.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering/product teams.
• Prior experience in an early-stage startup is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently in a fast-moving environment.
