About the Role

Join a customer-facing engineering team building production-grade AI systems for enterprise IT workflows. You will work directly with customers on complex deployments while contributing reusable capabilities to an AI automation platform.

What You'll Do

  • Architect and build scalable, durable systems for customer pilots, translating complex requirements into production implementations.

  • Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations that extend an AI agent platform.

  • Build secure, reliable integrations with external systems, emphasizing observability and maintainability.

  • Own deployments from initial architecture through launch, scaling, and ongoing optimization.

  • Partner with customers and internal teams to solve high-impact problems and deliver solutions quickly.

  • Help establish the practices and direction of a growing deployment engineering function.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of software engineering experience, with strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience shipping production systems.

  • Experience building APIs and integrations with third-party or enterprise systems.

  • Customer-facing engineering experience in implementations, pilots, solutions engineering, or similar work, or a clear interest in moving into this kind of role.

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, ideally including startup or 0-to-1 settings.

  • Exposure to AI or LLM systems, agent-based architectures, or automation platforms is a plus.

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics, or equivalent technical experience.
