Forward Deployed Software Engineer
Summary
Forward-deploys and commissions Vision AI solutions at industrial customer sites: integrating PLC/SCADA automation systems, configuring industrial networks, edge devices and IP cameras, and providing on-site troubleshooting and support. Core stack: Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLC, SCADA/HMI, Modbus/OPC-UA/Profinet/EtherNet/IP.
We are looking for a Forward Deployment Engineer with strong experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, SCADA/HMI systems, and industrial networking. The role involves deploying and commissioning Vision AI solutions at customer sites, integrating with existing industrial systems, configuring edge hardware and cameras, and providing on-site technical support.
Mandatory Skills: PLC Programming, Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLC, SCADA/HMI, Ladder Logic, Industrial Communication Protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, Profinet, EtherNet/IP), Industrial Networking, Edge Hardware Deployment.
Good to Have: Industrial Robotics, DCS Platforms, Vision AI, IP Cameras, RTSP/ONVIF, Docker, Linux, GPU-based Inference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and commission Vision AI solutions at customer locations.
- Integrate PLC, SCADA, and automation systems.
- Configure industrial networks, edge devices, and IP cameras.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Conduct customer demonstrations, technical walkthroughs, and handover sessions.
- Provide post-deployment support and coordinate with engineering teams.
Work Requirements:
- Frequent pan-India travel.
- Strong customer communication and technical coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage deployments and on-site troubleshooting.
