About the Role
A founder in the music and entertainment industry is seeking a creative and strategic content professional to support and grow their online presence across social media platforms. This role extends beyond content scheduling, focusing on shaping a distinctive founder voice, crafting compelling narratives, and building an engaged digital community from the ground up.
The successful candidate will lead content direction across Instagram and Facebook, with LinkedIn as a secondary channel, experimenting with formats, testing new ideas, and using performance insights to continuously refine strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, founder-led environment and has a strong passion for digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and manage a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with the founder's personal brand and business goals
- Plan and maintain a structured content calendar across platforms, ensuring consistent publishing cadence
- Translate the founder's ideas, insights, and expertise into engaging, shareable content
- Identify the most effective platforms and content formats to support audience growth and engagement
- Conduct regular content audits and competitor analysis to inform strategy
Content Creation
- Write compelling posts, captions, hooks, and short-form thought leadership pieces in the founder's authentic voice
- Develop recurring content themes and creative concepts that build recognisable brand identity
- Produce content for Instagram and Facebook as primary channels, with occasional LinkedIn content
- Repurpose long-form ideas (interviews, talks, insights) into social-ready formats
Visual & AI-Powered Content Production
- Create on-brand visual assets and short-form video content optimised for each platform
- Leverage modern AI tools to enhance output quality and streamline workflows:
- Claude (Anthropic) or similar AI writing assistants for drafting, ideation, and refining copy
- Canva or Adobe Express for graphic design and branded templates
- CapCut, Descript, or similar tools for short-form video editing and repurposing
- Midjourney, DALL·E, or Adobe Firefly for AI-generated visuals (desirable)
- Notion AI or similar for content planning, briefing, and workflow automation
- Buffer, Later, or similar scheduling tools for publishing and calendar management
Performance, Analytics & Optimisation
- Monitor engagement metrics, audience behaviour, and platform analytics to evaluate content performance
- Conduct structured A/B tests on content formats, posting times, and messaging approaches
- Produce regular performance reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Stay current with platform algorithm changes, emerging formats (Reels, Stories, carousels), and social media trends
Community & Brand Voice
- Support timely and authentic engagement with audience comments, DMs, and mentions
- Maintain a consistent, distinctive brand voice across all touchpoints
- Help identify partnership, collaboration, or cross-promotion opportunities to grow reach
About You
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in content creation, social media management, or personal brand management
- Background or strong interest in music, entertainment, or the wider creative industries, this is a genuine plus, not just a checkbox
- Experience in creative writing, storytelling, journalism, or media is a strong advantage
- A portfolio showing strong, platform-native content, whether for personal brands, founders, or creative projects
- Experience working with founders, startups, or creative projects is desirable

- Strong visual instinct and an eye for what performs on social platforms

- Up to date with current trends across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Reliable, communicative, and organised in a fully remote working environment
Working Arrangement
This is a part-time, fully remote position open to candidates based in the UK or European Union. Hours are flexible, with an expectation of regular check-ins and agreed delivery milestones. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and creative ownership.
