Founder's Office
If the CEO is in a lab review, you are the person making sure the vendor shipment is tracked, the investor update draft is ready, the next hire’s interview is scheduled, and the board pre-read is being assembled. You do not wait to be told. You see the gap and you fill it.
WHAT YOU WILL
DO
• Procurement and
vendor coordination: Track POs,
shipping, customs, delivery timelines across international
suppliers. Escalate blockers before anyone asks.
• Meeting prep and
follow-through: Assemble pre-reads,
prepare talking points, capture action items, chase every
item to closure for board, partner, and media
meetings.
• Hiring pipeline: Screen resumes,
coordinate interviews, run reference checks, manage offer
logistics. You make the hiring process fast and
friction-free.
• Finance and
compliance ops: Coordinate with the
CA on GST, payroll, banking. Keep MIS current. Handle
filings and regulatory paperwork.
Requirements
WHO YOU
ARE
PROFILE
A: OPERATOR 1–3 years
in ops, consulting, or a high-growth
startup. You have shipped
real work: managed vendor pipelines, run
investor comms, coordinated cross-functional
execution. Slow environments make you
restless. | PROFILE
B: BUILDER A sharp, high-energy fresh graduate with genuine
enthusiasm for deep-tech. You may lack years
of experience, but you have built
things -- side projects, college
orgs, freelance work -- and you move
fast with minimal hand-holding. |
Regardless of
profile, you must be:
• High-agency. You
identify problems and solve them without waiting for
permission or a roadmap.
• Relentless on
follow-through. Nothing falls through the cracks on your
watch.
• A strong written
communicator. Investor emails, vendor follow-ups, board
pre-reads -- clear and concise.
• Comfortable with
ambiguity. Processes do not exist yet. You build
them.
• Fluent with AI
tools (especially Claude). You use them daily to
draft, research, analyze, and move faster.
• Genuinely
interested in deep-tech, space, or hardware. No
physics degree needed, but you should care
WHAT THIS ROLE
IS NOT
• Not a strategy or
management consulting engagement. You execute, not
advise.
• Not a personal
assistant or calendar manager. You own outcomes, not
schedules.
• You are a force
multiplier for the founder.
