Founding Back-end Engineer
You will build and own high-scale data ingestion pipelines that synthesize on-chain and off-chain data in real time. You will implement internal and decentralized data storage, generate verifiable credentials, develop recommendation systems and AI agent pipelines, design zero-knowledge circuitry, and integrate data export systems. You will collaborate closely with the Backend Lead and other engineers, translate high-level requirements into production-quality code, and apply performance tuning, caching, and fault-tolerant strategies to ensure reliability and scalability on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Build and own high-scale data ingestion pipelines
- Synthesize on-chain and off-chain data in real time
- Implement internal and decentralized data storage

Requirements
- Experience with Go or similar high-scale backend systems
- Familiarity with Python and TypeScript is a plus
- Experience with distributed systems including event-driven architectures
- Experience with fault-tolerant strategies, caching, and performance tuning
- Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Graph database experience is a plus
- Comfortable with basic AWS services (EC2, EBS, EKS)
- Self-starter able to convert high-level requirements into working code
- Experience working in high-performance technical cultures
- Familiarity with crypto and web3 is required
- Domestic US-based (NYC preferred)
