Compensation: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 • 0.5% – 1.0%
Nthra Labs (www.nthralabs.com) is an early-stage startup based in Bangalore. We build products that help manufacturers convert intent to verified physical products. We're looking for a Founding Engineer to build AI components of our product end to end — from interpreting engineering documents to developing intelligent systems that help manufacturers through New Product Development (NPD). This is a hands-on role, and you will build systems that * Read customer requirements, 2D engineering drawings, and 3D CAD models * Interpret design, its tolerances, GD & T, and link with standards * Design/Finetune of AI models that can assist manufacturers in Quality planning ( APQP), Production Part Approval (PPAP)
Must Have: * 5+ years building software, including 2+ years building AI or ML products used by real customers * Solid knowledge of engineering drawings: you can read a 2D drawing, understand GD&T and tolerances, and know how a drawing relates to a 3D CAD model. * Hands-on experience with vision models, reasoning models, and agentic patterns * Strong Python * Has built and shipped a complete product: backend, database, basic frontend, deployment
