Summary

Founding engineer at an early-stage enterprise AI startup in Munich building agents that connect, migrate, and implement business-critical systems. Day to day you build TypeScript-heavy integration infrastructure — connectors, data transformation, execution systems, SDKs, and agent tooling — and work directly with customers, on-site five days a week.

About the Role

Join an early engineering team at an enterprise AI startup building agents that connect, migrate, and implement business-critical systems. You will help shape the core technology and engineering practices behind reliable enterprise integrations.

What You'll Do

  • Build and improve the planning, execution, and recovery capabilities that turn integration requirements into production-ready data workflows.

  • Develop across connectors, data transformation, execution infrastructure, web applications, SDKs, and agent tooling.

  • Design and operate reliable systems that interact with production enterprise platforms and sensitive business data.

  • Work with customers on technical implementations and use their needs to guide product and engineering decisions.

  • Set technical patterns and quality standards for a growing engineering team.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of software engineering experience building production systems, including experience at a startup or high-growth company.

  • Strong TypeScript skills and experience building end-to-end applications, plus proficiency in Python, Go, C, or another additional language.

  • Good technical judgment designing reliable, scalable infrastructure, distributed systems, or data pipelines.

  • Experience integrating or implementing enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, or data warehouse systems, and familiarity with data migration, ETL, or system integration work.

  • Comfort working directly with customers on technical projects, along with clear communication skills.

  • Experience contributing to open source projects; familiarity with LLMs or agent tooling is also useful.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: €90,000 to €150,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site, five days per week in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Relocation is required if you are not already based nearby.
