This is a founding engineering role at an early-stage AI startup building purpose-built automation tools for the freight forwarding industry. You'll sit at the intersection of customer engagement and hands-on development, helping shape both the product and the company's technical direction from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Lead customer conversations and translate insights directly into product features and technical strategy.
Design and build full-stack applications while advancing the product's AI capabilities.
Transition prototypes and demos into scalable, production-ready systems.
Contribute to shaping the product roadmap, technical architecture, and overall company direction.
What We're Looking For
2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
Full-stack development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React on the frontend, and Python on the backend.
Hands-on experience with LLM design patterns, vector stores, and model fine-tuning.
Proven track record taking products from MVP to production-grade scale.
Comfortable leading customer conversations and translating feedback into clear product requirements.
Experience working in startup or early-stage environments.
Familiarity with vector databases or semantic search implementations is a plus.
Location
Hybrid — Berlin, Germany. Visa sponsorship is available.
