Founding Engineer

We're looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer to help lead technical development across our core systems.

Responsibilities:

• Legal AI tools: document analysers, research automation, brief generation.
• Client platforms: smart intake, case tracking, communication tools.
• Real-time collaboration: shared workspaces, live editing.
• Scalable APIs: backend systems handling thousands of concurrent users.
• Data pipelines: ingestion, processing, and model training infrastructure.

Core Technical Areas:

You should be strong in the following:

Full Stack Development:

• React + TypeScript, MUI or Tailwind, WebSocket/live UIs.
• Python (Django), REST/GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL/MongoDB optimization/sharding.
• Integration: frontend-backend architecture, state management (Redux, etc. )

DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure:

• AWS/GCP/Azure deployment, autoscaling, monitoring.
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code.

AI Engineering (Good to have):

• LLM integration: OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models.
• Vector search: Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB.
• RAG systems: document retrieval, context augmentation.
• Document processing: OCR, PDF parsing, structured data extraction

Our Tech Stack:

• Frontend - Next. js / React, React Query / Redux.
• Backend - Django, Flask, Postgres, Redis, AWS.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-stack or backend-focused experience.
• Startup mentality: extremely fast iteration, ambiguity, ownership.
• Strong product intuition and user-centred thinking.
