Founding Engineer

About this role:
- The client is an early-stage startup founded by alumni of a major European fintech, building an AI-first IT operations platform.
- They are automating company equipment and software lifecycles across identity, devices, SaaS, and security.
- This Founding Engineer hire exists to own the web application layer and shape the product architecture from day one.

Ideal candidate:
- A mid-to-senior full-stack or frontend-leaning engineer based in Europe.
- The ideal candidate has startup experience, is highly proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue), and is comfortable working with backend systems (Kotlin, Node.js, or Python).
- They must actively use AI coding tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot as a core part of their daily workflow.

Required:
- 3+ years of experience in software product development.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) in daily development workflows.

Lean toward:
- Prior experience working in an early-stage startup environment.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Kotlin, Node.js, or Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and accessibility standards.
- Experience with GCP and Postgres.
