About Noptic
Noptic Healthcare is an early-stage healthcare technology startup developing an Extended Reality (XR) platform that enables clinicians to remotely guide, monitor, and communicate with patients during medical procedures performed at home.
Our technology combines wearable XR devices, real-time clinician guidance, and procedural monitoring to help improve patient safety, adherence, and access to care.
We have a functional prototype, issued intellectual property, and early clinical validation, with plans to advance toward real-world deployment over the next year.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an entrepreneurial software engineer with approximately 4+ years of programming experience who is excited about building innovative technology and helping bring an early-stage startup to market.
This individual will work directly with Noptic's founders to finalize our Minimum Viable Product (MVP), contribute to key technical decisions, and help shape the future of our platform.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in software engineering, with an emphasis on backend development, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience developing APIs, databases, and real-time communication systems that connect multiple applications and devices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), data security, and scalable application development.
- Ability to integrate emerging technologies, including XR hardware, mobile applications, and AI-powered capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently solve complex technical challenges and take ownership of development projects.
- Passion for emerging technologies, healthcare innovation, and building products from the ground up.
