About the Role
Join an early-stage AI company as a founding forward deployed engineer, building and deploying AI-powered workflows for manufacturing procurement and supply chain operations. You will work directly with customers and the platform engineering team to turn operational challenges into production systems.
What You'll Do
Work with customer IT, supply chain, and procurement teams to identify and scope new workflows and use cases.
Build and ship production code in customer environments, extending solutions in ways that can scale across deployments.
Lead technical deployments from discovery through go-live and take ownership of customer outcomes.
Travel to customer facilities, including internationally, to work alongside operators and support adoption.
Share field insights with platform engineers to improve deployment speed and reliability.
What We're Looking For
One to five years of experience in customer-facing full-stack or forward deployed engineering, with strong software engineering fundamentals.
Experience gathering technical requirements, translating ambiguous problems into specifications, and shipping end-to-end workflow or automation deployments to production.
Experience owning customer deployments and production outcomes in enterprise environments, ideally at a growth-stage technology company.
Working knowledge of Python or similar languages, SQL, APIs, enterprise data, and systems such as ERP platforms; familiarity with large language models, AI agents, or supply chain platforms is useful.
Clear communication, sound problem-solving, and the ability to work independently without established playbooks.
Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments is beneficial.
Comfort with international travel, approximately 15% to 30%, primarily to Europe and Asia.
Must be a US citizen or hold a Green Card; visa sponsorship is not available.
