Summary
AquaShield is seeking a founding full-stack hardware engineer to develop real-time leak detection systems for water and gas infrastructure. The role involves end-to-end product development, from hardware prototyping and IoT connectivity to ML-based data processing.
Looking for a founding engineer to join our MIT Startup (YC P26) (high ownership and meaningful equity)
Product: Real-time detection & localization of water/gas leaks in complex distribution systems
Location: Zurich (+ partly in San Francisco)
Requirements:
- Builder mindset: built and shipped a full-stack hardware + software product end to end, ideally from prototype to scale.
• Startup mindset: high ownership, fast iteration, willing to go deep on hardware today and pivot to data problems tomorrow.
• IoT and connectivity: LoRaWAN, experience in scaling fleet of deployed devices.
• Embedded / edge + low power: sensor data processing, low-power IoT
• ML for time-series: anomaly detection on sensor data, feature engineering, model training and deployment.
