Everyone needs a home, yet the experience of renting - or renting out - is terrible.

For this generation, housing is one of the most pressing problems. Solving it is urgent.

Uprent is an AI agent for rental home search. We started by creating an experience where tenants find homes auto‑magically, while landlords rent out homes in days (soon hours, then minutes), with 10x lower fees, and no agents.

We're ready to devote the next decades of our lives to completely redesigning the entire process: from the way people find and rent, to the homes themselves. Why does it take months to find a bearable home? Why do we still carry metal keys? Why can't we terminate a lease?

How's it going

We're at 10,000+ users with zero marketing spend, growing purely through product quality

With a team of three people, we have built a product that condenses the rental process from months into days for tenants, and fills rentals in record time for landlords

We have raised two rounds of funding (undisclosed) and are now doubling the team from 3 to 6 to accelerate

• Yury: Esports World Champion & Forbes 30u30 at 21yo (back when it was cool)

What will you do

Your one and only mission is to ship high‑quality code at extreme velocity

We eliminate all bureaucracy so you can focus purely on building

You will own features end‑to‑end

Your ideas, however crazy or absurd, will be heard (and most often - built)

We particularly love ex‑founders, though this is not required

Both Yury and Alex have been building startups for years with zero breaks. We are an all‑engineer team, so our culture is pure geekery. We believe most problems are best solved through engineering.

Out stack is modern and sometimes experimental. This is because we are DX nerds. You probably won't be familiar with all of these yet, and that’s okay! They’re intuitive to learn, so you’ll get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with them.

Offer

• Salary: up to €60,000 (approx. $70k)
• Equity: 0.1% – 2.5%
• Sometimes, we can be flexible on the numbers

You’re not just an engineer — you’re a Founding Engineer. You’ll get actual equity. This is as close as you can get to starting a company without taking on founder risks.

We also pay for and manage your food, apartment cleaning, transport, etc.

Right now, we pay what we can. As we hit revenue milestones or secure new funding, cash compensation will rise. Our goal is to eventually have a very small team of exceptional engineers, paid significantly above the market.
