Founding Fullstack Engineer
Summary
Build and lead the full-stack stack for a crypto startup, integrating smart contracts with serverless backends and modern web3 libraries while collaborating closely with the CEO on technical direction.
You will collaborate directly with the CEO and founder on technical decisions while tackling complex on-chain and off-chain synchronization challenges. You will lead backend and API development, build within a serverless architecture, prioritize security and data protection, improve performance, develop front-end features, design data flows, integrate smart contracts, manage transactions, participate in R&D, improve development infrastructure, monitoring, CI/CD, testing, and documentation, and help grow the technology team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and founder on technical decisions
- Tackle complex technical challenges related to on-chain and off-chain synchronization
- Lead backend and API development
- Develop within the serverless architecture framework
- Prioritize security and data protection
- Improve overall performance
- Contribute to key front-end features
- Design efficient data flow strategies
- Integrate smart contracts and manage transactions efficiently
- Participate in R&D projects
- Improve the local development environment
- Implement monitoring solutions
- Refine CI/CD processes

Requirements
- Work within a timezone between UTC and UTC+4, preferably CET
- Proficiency in English
- 4+ years of experience as a fullstack engineer, with 65% backend and 35% frontend experience
- 2+ years of experience with blockchain-based projects, including hackathons and personal projects
- Genuine interest in the project
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience with AWS, serverless stacks, and databases
- Experience with Next.js
- Experience with web3 technologies
- Deep understanding of blockchain and smart contracts
- Experience with web3 libraries such as viem, wagmi, and ethers
- Nice to have server infrastructure and AWS expertise
- Nice to have cybersecurity experience
- Nice to have smart contract development experience
- Nice to have experience with low-level languages such as Golang and Rust
