About the Role
What You'll Do
- Establish the patterns for how people supervise, correct, and hand work to AI agents, in an environment where being wrong is expensive.
- Rebuild the flows behind provisional credit, evidence gathering, chargeback filing, and merchant response review, so a process that takes up to 90 days at most banks resolves in days.
- Spend time on site with dispute and fraud teams at banks and credit unions, watching the actual work, then turn what you see into agent workflows nobody has designed before.
- Produce the keynotes, board decks, and published points of view that banks use to understand agentic transformation, and present them yourself.
- Work directly with engineers and customers to design new flows, from problem definition through pixel-level polish.
- Prototype aggressively in Figma, in code, or with AI tools, whatever gets the idea across fastest.
What You've Done
- 6+ years designing and shipping products, with meaningful time on enterprise, B2B, or workflow-heavy software.
- Designed enterprise workflows before, and excited to rethink them with agentic AI.
- Worked directly with engineers and customers to design new flows, and can handle ambiguity.
- You’ve built design systems that help a whole team move faster with design, and can speak to what that unlocked.
- Designed complex, information-dense interfaces, and can show how you made them simpler without making them weaker.
- Exceptional craft and systems thinking. You know when to use an existing pattern, when to create one, and when to kill one, and you can articulate why you made a decision, not just what you made.
- Strong storyteller in both words and visuals, with experience presenting to customers, executives, or industry audiences.
- You've genuinely integrated AI agents into how you design and build, and can speak to what that changed.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, payments, fraud, or another highly regulated domain.
- You've been an early or solo designer at a startup and know what that actually requires.
- You ship your own code, or have worked as a design engineer.
- Bonus: Familiarity with fraud systems, payment infrastructure, or chargeback processes!
