Founding Security Engineer

You will own security across critical production systems, from design through production. You will review architecture and code, identify attack surfaces, build fixes and security tooling, and strengthen practices for secure delivery. Your work will cover transaction signing, key management, cryptographic protocols, applications, infrastructure, and external-network integrations.

Responsibilities

• Secure core infrastructure, protocols, and transaction systems
• Review architecture and audit code
• Identify attack surfaces and vulnerabilities
• Design and implement security systems and fixes
• Develop security tooling
• Build internal security practices
• Secure transaction signing, key management, and cryptographic protocols
• Assess application, infrastructure, and external-network integration security

Requirements

• Demonstrate deep experience securing production software
• Demonstrate strong software engineering skills
• Read, review, and write production code
• Understand applied cryptography, authentication, key management, and secure protocol design
• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities
• Conduct security reviews
• Understand cloud infrastructure, networking, access controls, and distributed production environments
• Work across protocol, application, and infrastructure security
• Exercise sound security judgment and ownership
