Senior contract role via IT recruiter Peoplebank (AUD 800–1100/day) for an Oracle/FOXopen developer based in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne. Day to day: building and maintaining FOXopen workflow applications, Oracle database development, PL/SQL packages, and SQL tuning for enterprise workflow/case-management systems in an Agile team.
Salary: AUD 800 - 1100 per day
Senior Oracle / FOXopen Developer Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne | Contract Opportunity | Competitive Daily RateWe're partnering with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Oracle / FOXopen Developer to join a high-performing team delivering enterprise-scale workflow and business applications.
This is an opportunity to work on complex systems that support critical business processes, leveraging Oracle technologies and the FOXopen framework to develop, enhance and maintain secure, workflow-driven applications. FOXopen is an open-source framework commonly used alongside Oracle Database for workflow, forms and business process automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain FOXopen-based applications.
- Design, build and optimise Oracle database solutions.
- Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions.
- Support workflow automation and business process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts and technical teams.
- Participate in system enhancements, testing and deployment activities.
- Commercial experience with FOXopen application development.
- Strong Oracle Database development experience.
- Advanced PL/SQL development skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise workflow or case management systems.
- Strong SQL performance tuning and optimisation skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
- Java and web application development experience.
- Experience with document management, workflow or approvals systems.
- Exposure to integration technologies and web services.
