Hypernative is the proactive onchain security platform for enterprises and institutions. We build the security infrastructure that lets organizations operate and scale onchain with confidence, unifying real-time monitoring, transaction security, fraud prevention, compliance screening, and automated response in a single, institutional-grade platform.

Our technical teams build and run the industry’s most battle-tested machine learning models and real-time infrastructure, resulting in detection engines that have actively prevented over $3 billion in losses across 75+ blockchains.

Founded in 2023, Hypernative raised a $40M Series B and has secured $100B+ in digital assets across 350+ leading organizations, including top financial institutions, exchanges, asset managers, protocols, and chains.

We're looking for a Security Research Engineer. You will investigate emerging blockchain threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors across smart contracts, protocols, economic systems, and off-chain infrastructure. You will analyze real-world attacks as they unfold and turn your research into detection and prevention capabilities that help protect users, protocols, and digital assets from high-impact security incidents.

We're first FP&A Analyst. You’ll own budgeting, forecasting, and end-to-end performance analysis, working closely with the Director of Finance, our external CFO, and department heads across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budget process from scratch, working with department heads to build and challenge their plans
  • Own the monthly budget vs. actual: explain variances, flag overruns, and point out where we can save
  • Build and maintain financial models and rolling forecasts covering headcount, operating expenses, cash flow, and runway
  • Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to support planning and strategic decisions
  • Work with the external accounting team so management reports reflect accurate numbers
  • Improve and automate planning and reporting processes, using AI tools wherever they help

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally in a tech or SaaS company
  • Hands-on experience running an annual budget and budget vs. actual across multiple departments
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build complex financial models on your own
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and key KPIs such as burn, runway, and gross margin
  • You use AI tools as part of your everyday work, for analysis, modeling, or automation
  • Comfortable working with department heads and senior management, and explaining numbers in plain terms
  • Independent and organized, with a high sense of ownership
  • Fluent in English
