FP&A Analyst

In this role, you will support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting while building the models and analyses that guide investment, cost, and operational decisions. You will also play a central role in evaluating acquisition opportunities -- building valuation and pro forma models from raw target financials and supporting the deal team through financial diligence. You will collaborate closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams, providing the clarity and rigor that leaders rely on to plan for the future and pursue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance and trend analysis
- Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Build acquisition valuation and pro forma models from target financials to support live M&A activity
- Support financial due diligence, including quality of earnings analysis and integration cost modelling
- Analyze operational and financial performance and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Partner with department leaders to develop budgets and monitor spend against plan
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities in coordination with accounting
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to track business performance
- Conduct ad hoc analyses on pricing, cost, profitability, and investment opportunities
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to finance and business stakeholders

Requirements
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3 or more years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a comparable analytical finance role
- Exceptional candidates early in their career will also be considered where drive, curiosity, and the ability to learn fast are clearly demonstrated
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including modeling and complex formulas
- Solid understanding of financial statements and core accounting concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting to stakeholders
Preferred
- Experience with ERP and financial planning systems
- Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Progress toward or completion of CFA, CPA, or CMA credentials
- Experience working with SQL or automating reporting processes
