FP&A Lead West Europe (f/m/d)

Job Description:

This role leads the financial architecture for value creation across West Europe, translating strategic priorities into clear financial objectives, KPIs and performance insights for the current year and three-year horizon. It drives the financial forecasting process, enables fact-based decision-making, and acts as the key link between the Finance Business Partners, the CFO and the Leadership Team.

The job holder is responsible for building an efficient, well-structured finance organization and developing the team to deliver strong individual and collective contributions to overall company objectives.

What would be your key responsibilities?

The role focuses on five core areas:

  • People leadership: Lead and organize the Cluster FP&A and Business Partnering team, driving engagement, development and strong line management. Define clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities across the S&OP+ process, in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and support functions.

  • Financial planning cycles: Lead, together with the Business Partnering team, the Cluster financial planning cycles, including AEP, Replan and IVCP. Facilitate strategic cross-functional discussions and own the financial model and target alignment between the West Europe Leadership Team, functions and regional stakeholders.

  • Performance tracking and insights: Provide relevant reporting and analysis to measure financial performance, investment ROI, risks and opportunities, and project delivery. Generate proactive insights through clear reports and dashboards that help the business deliver its plan.

  • S&F collaboration: Act as the connection point between the Cluster and the regional S&F team, contributing to the Regional FP&A Leads community and supporting the deployment of best-in-class processes, tools and insights across Europe. Partner with the Cluster S&F LT to drive engagement, collaboration, efficiency and simplification for the S&F community.

  • Continuous improvement and digitalization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement self-service financial reporting tools, and build financial capability and literacy across Sales, Marketing and other stakeholder groups.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 8-10 years experience in Finance & Accounting, with proven success in a Business Partnering role

  • Previous experience within the FMCG industry is highly desirable

  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Strong analytical and technical capabilities, including advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Anaplan, and AI-driven tools

  • Ability to translate financial insights into clear business recommendations and influence stakeholders effectively
