The Opportunity
K1x is building out its finance function to support its next stage of growth. This is a newly created FP&A Manager role that will play a central part in bringing rigor, forecasting discipline, and investor-grade reporting to a fast-scaling, PE-backed SaaS business.
What You'll Do
- Own the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, partnering with department leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and G&A
- Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, unit economics, headcount, and cash runway to support board- and investor-level decision making
- Prepare recurring board and investor reporting packages, including key SaaS metrics such as ARR, net revenue retention, CAC/LTV, gross margin, and burn multiple
- Deliver monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. budget vs. forecast) with clear, actionable commentary for leadership
- Support scenario planning and ad hoc analyses tied to growth initiatives, pricing, and resource allocation
- Help stand up and improve FP&A tools, systems, and processes as the finance function scales post-investment
- Partner with the CEO, CFO, and executive team on materials for board meetings, investor updates, and potential M&A activity
- Partner closely with Accounting on close-related deliverables (revenue recognition, reconciliations, month-end close) so forecasts tie cleanly back to reported actuals — K1x is concurrently building out this side of the finance team
Requirements
- 3–6 years of relevant experience, ideally from private equity, investment banking, or a transaction advisory practice (e.g., PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, Grant Thornton, RSM, Baker Tilly, CBIZ), or comparable in-house FP&A experience
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into clear narratives for non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, PE-backed environment with evolving processes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CFA, CPA, or MBA a plus
- Familiarity with SaaS/subscription business metrics; NetSuite experience a strong plus, as it's K1x's system of record for accounting and finance

- Competitive compensation and equity participation
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
