FP&A Manager
Job Description:
The FP&A Manager role is responsible for supporting the creation and consolidation of the medium- and long-term planning of the Mars Food & Nutrition North America business at a regional level. Responsible for tracking the performance of the business, providing analysis and insights for the operating entity with ad hoc reporting and leveraging management reporting tools while working with demand business partners to ensure accurate reporting of financials. The role will also continue to focus on development and enhancement of digital reporting capabilities, overheads business partnering and cash management & forecasting.
Principal Accountabilities
Support long-term integrated value creation plan (IVCP) processes for the region, collaborating with other finance business partners in the region, according to corporate required submission guidelines, including system validations and timeline
Support the translation of the IVCP into the annual execution plan (AEP), collate and understand the business initiatives that impact the value creation agenda
Contribute into S&OP+ processes, future performance planning and estimation for P&L reporting for different forums
Responsibility for overheads target management, leading the process to set targets and work with functions to hit long term aspirations
Insight creation and variance analysis to understand the business performance during Period-end, quarterly and year-end financial reporting processes
Drive the continuous improvement of digital tools, by consolidating improvement requests across the region, creating change recommendations, and supporting their delivery, especially in forecasting tools
Contribute to the broader finance team in other areas, including special projects and requests, perform ad hoc analysis as needed
Contribute and support an effective, highly competent and engaged Finance team

Financial Reporting – The ability and knowledge to apply Mars Incorporated’s accounting policies and principles, accounting principles (local jurisdiction), to prepare and provide timely, accurate and fit for purpose reporting of financial results
Business Planning – The ability to continuously define and set goals for a business and identify clear strategies to achieve them. Including identifying the right financial and non-financial metrics and is time-bound, while being dynamic enough to cater for significant shifts in the internal and external landscape
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Accounting or Finance required
3-5+ years of progressive financial experience required
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or MBA preferred
