FPSO Lead ICSS Instrumentation Engineer, France

- Lead and coordinate ICSS & Instrumentation engineering activities during detailed design and procurement.
- Supervise and challenge the FPSO EPC Contractor to ensure technical compliance, quality and schedule.
- Manage interfaces with process, electrical, safety, HVAC, architectural and other packages.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables including P&IDs, instrumentation, sizing, material selection, hook-ups, layouts and cabling.
- Monitor technical progress, costs, planning, interfaces and engineering quality.
- Manage technical queries, design changes and contractor deliverables.
- Supervise ICSS procurement, FATs, pre-FATs and i-FATs and vendor activities.
- Support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up preparation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, standards and HSE requirements.
- Report technical issues and risks to the Engineering Manager and propose mitigation measures.
- Engineering degree / Chartered Engineer specializing in Instrumentation, Automation, Process Control, ESD and F&G.
- 15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas experience.
- Extensive experience in field instrumentation and ICSS.
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas operating and control philosophies.
- Proven experience supervising EPC contractors and managing multidisciplinary interfaces.
- Experience with FAT, construction, commissioning and start-up activities.
- Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
- Willingness to work internationally in France, Singapore and South Korea.
- Potential Starting date: October 2026 (subject to FID)
- Duration: 1 year to 4 years after FPSO contract Award
- Location: Between 1 and 2 years in Paris – France, up to 18 months in Singapore, up to 18 months in Geoje – South Korea.
