Position Summary:
The Franchise Support Director reports to the VP of Franchise and is responsible for providing operational coaching, training, and strategic support to a portfolio of 30–50 FullSpeed Automotive franchised locations, including Grease Monkey and SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service centers. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned franchise owners, helping them strengthen operational execution, improve financial performance, enhance the customer experience, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchise Support & Partnership
- Serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of franchise owners, providing operational coaching and strategic guidance to improve business performance.
- Maintains meaningful and frequent communication with franchisees through phone, email, text, and face-to-face meetings, including onsite visits two to four times per year.
- Partners with internal teams, including Marketing, Training, Legal, and Leadership, to ensure franchisees have the resources and support needed to operate successfully.
- Works closely with the Legal team to resolve company conflicts involving key accounts or franchise owners.
Operational Performance & Compliance
- Ensures franchisees follow the Grease Monkey and SpeeDee systems of operation and utilize the policies, procedures, and programs established in the Franchise Agreement and Operations Manual.
- Conducts onsite reviews and provide coaching across all levels of sales, revenue, service, culture, and operational execution.
- Conducts regular compliance evaluations using Store Consultation Reports and Business Builder Review forms.
- Monitors business activities and provide proactive solutions to current and anticipated operational challenges.
- Identifies and manages potential conflicts and challenges, addressing concerns before they escalate.
Business Planning & Financial Performance
- Partners with franchise owners to develop actionable business plans focused on revenue growth, customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and margin improvement.
- Reviews and analyze franchisee financial performance, including revenue trends, labor, expenses, and overall profitability, to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Tracks key performance indicators across the assigned portfolio and help franchisees implement best practices that improve customer satisfaction, retention, and financial results.
- Communicates portfolio performance to franchisees, measure progress against established goals, and adjust strategic plans as needed.
- Develops strategies to grow revenue, strengthen sales, service, and associate cultures, enhance service delivery, and improve quality across all operational disciplines.
Franchise Growth
- Identifies new-store growth opportunities within assigned markets involving existing franchisees and potential independent conversion candidates.
- Maintains awareness of potential real estate opportunities within assigned markets.
- Develops and lead strategies that strengthen the value proposition of FullSpeed Automotive’s brands and support the continued growth of the franchise community.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of progressive experience supporting franchise networks or leading multi-unit operations, preferably within a service-based franchise system, with demonstrated commercial acumen and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Experience as a Franchise Business Consultant or as a multi-unit operations leader managing multiple territories across multiple states.
- Strong written, verbal, listening, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence franchise owners and operators to adopt recommended strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and develop effective business strategies.
- Self-starter who proactively identifies solutions and finds effective ways to overcome barriers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities across a large portfolio.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Bilingual capabilities preferred but not required.
- Travel: Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%, including air travel, to support franchise locations across assigned markets. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
- Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to remain stationary while working on a computer and communicating via phone, video conferencing, and email, as well as move throughout the workplace and various centers during visits, with or without reasonable accommodations.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $95–$110k annually, based on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for a performance-based bonus. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan; paid time off; and paid holidays.
